This post goes out to whomever is in charge of picking the Wanderlust festival locations. I salute you, sir or madam, for your keen sense for finding the best weather possible. Ski resorts in the summer, in both hemispheres? Genius. Hawaii in the winter? Perfect. Austin in November? Now we're really on to something. The heat on the third coast should just be breaking in time for the newly scheduled Wanderlust Austin Festival on November 8-10, which will feature festival circuit regulars like Shiva Rea, Seane Corn, and MC Yogi in combination with local favorites like Shakey Graves, Gioconda Parker, Hilly Flora and Ben Heath, Erinn Lewis, and Malia Scott. I think this is the first Wanderlust in an urban location, so it will be interesting to see how that affects the vibe. Only one way to find out...
